Well, I did it again. Always multi-tasking while applying my own makeup, I smudged mascara all over my eyelid.
So, what do you do when you are in a hurry? How can you remove the makeup mistake quickly?

In the past, I have put a little eye makeup remover on a the end of a Q-tip to clean away the smudge . This sometimes works but will often take off all of the rest of my eye makeup along with the mascara smudge. This leaves leaves me with a bare patch where there once was my eye makeup.
Luckily, I have now found the best quick makeup remover for emergency repairs:
I love the Makeup Remover Pen from e.l.f. Cosmetics. It’s just fantastic. With its soft, felt tip end, it will quickly and precisely remove unwanted makeup from just the spot you need, without removing makeup from the surrounding area as well.
It’s great for deleting all makeup blunders… mascara smudges, too thick eyeliner, errant eyebrow lines, you name it. The formula is non-greasy and quick drying so there is no need to blot afterward. And for only $3, its a total steal!

To use the Makeup Remover pen, just lightly press the tip of the wand against the makeup you want to remove. Then, use your fingertip to smooth over the skin. Ta-dah! you have quickly removed your eye makeup mistake.
This product is the best quick eye makeup remover I have found, but what about the other side of things? What about making your eye shadow stay in place? What are some tips for making eye makeup last?

Hi! Just checking out your website. Thanks for the eye make-up remover tip. I need something like that quite often. Do you think I can get it at Walgreen’s?
I just did a search and it does look like limited editions of e.l.f. products are available at Walgreens. But I got mine at Target, so check there also!
